The Making of The Weird Room 2


Time for some weirder things!

Last time, our corridor and Weird Room had not a lot of things going on, but since then, I have added more furniture and stuff to them and I gonna talk about that. Also you can move now.


First, we have these things. You can see from the left to the right, a render made in my open source raytracer Renderdude, a 3d model of Ralsei, one of the main characters from Deltarune (which I still haven't recorded a third episode of after months), a case with Suzanne inside, and a rendition of the computer from the Hypnospace Outlaw trailer/opening gif. That last one will be available for anyone to check on soon.


Other than that, I have given the pillars and the walls textures. Not very crazy, but now the scene looks more interesting overall with all those things.


The reason I have been putting these models around is really to balance the fact this game is not very based on action, but dialogue and comedy, so a nicely decorated place to do those things in is better than a dungeon or something.

In the next devlog, you may actually get a video instead of my usual "here's how and why" I do with devlogs. Production value goes up, weirdness goes up. A win/win I'd say.
